Culture, Health and Well-being Initiatives in Italy: Arts on prescription: a new opportunity

Organised by the Cultural Welfare Centre

This session aims to:

  • Introduce the idea of 'arts-based social prescribing' in Italy.

  • Identify the first signs of "structural" culture, health, and well-being initiatives in Italy, and bring together the people who started these projects.

  • Present the Cultural Welfare Centre's online survey on social prescribing practices.

  • Talk about what problem should be addressed as a priority, and what the first steps are to make that happen.

  • How can processes at EU level, like the "Open Method of Coordination on Culture and Health", help this process?
