We close BEYOND 2025 just as we opened it: together.

​

After four days of intense dialogue, visionary ideas, and vibrant exchanges across Aurora, it’s time to gather once more—this time to celebrate. Join us for a night of music, art, and community that marks the end of our journey and opens the door to what comes next.

​

The Aurora Borealis AfterParty(st) is more than just a party. It’s a shared ritual of transition: a joyful moment to honour what we’ve built and toast to the power of cultural democracy in practice.

​

Throughout the night, you’ll meet the Aurora Borealis residency artists, selected by the local community and curated by Kaninchen-Haus 

​

Expect the unexpected.

During the evening, participatory performances will unfold, designed by the artists of Ghost Art School (Glasgow). Inspired by the themes of the conference, they’ve created relational artworks that invite you to become part of the experience. Many will involve collective sound-making—don’t miss your chance to be inside the art.

​

We’ll begin with a special translocal performance titled “CapacityBuilding”, a long-distance dialogic action connecting Borealis with the festival Losing the Plot in Northumberland, led by artist Rory Macbeth. From there, surprises await...

ENTRANCE:

Entrance to this event requires purchasing a 6 EUR Tessera AICS card. The Tessera AICS (Associazione Italiana Cultura Sport) is a national network that legally protects independent cultural spaces across Italy, allowing them to exist outside the commercial mainstream.

With this card, you’re supporting the survival of grassroots clubs, DIY art spaces, radical bookstores, and community hubs that would otherwise be shut down or priced out. It’s what supports local spaces to serve drinks, host gigs, screen films, or hold activist meetings—without turning into a corporate venue. 

The membership is valid for one year and gives you access to all AICS-affiliated spaces and events across Italy.
