Sermig
📍Piazza Borgo Dora, 61, 10152 Torino
Sermig (Servizio Missionario Giovani), is a former military arsenal transformed into a space for social initiatives, cultural events, and community projects.
Getting There & Accessibility
Sermig is about a 20-minute walk from the city center, or approximately 10 minutes by bike or taxi. It is well-served by multiple bus lines (11, 19, 50, 51, 92) and tram line 4, with stops at Borgo Dora and Emilia.
Entry to the venue is via the main gate, which provides step-free access to the first courtyard. From there, follow the signed outdoor corridor through a second courtyard and continue along the open-air path to reach the event area, where the registration desk will be located. Bathrooms are situated directly opposite the registration desk. There are two accessible bathrooms. All bathrooms are gender-separated, and a shower is also available.
All main event spaces, including the rooms used for sessions and catering, are located on the ground floor and are fully step-free. The corridors throughout the venue are wide and open-air. Designated accessibility seating will be available in the front rows of the main room. The indoor space is equipped with air conditioning. These main rooms are bright and open onto an inner garden courtyard with grass. This garden space will be accessible throughout the event and can be used as an area to relax.
Please note: One of the rooms used for a parallel session on Friday afternoon is located upstairs and does not have step-free access. Details about the session scheduled in this room will be shared once the programme is finalised.
La Centrale Nuvola Lavazza

La Centrale Lavazza is a contemporary event space within the Lavazza headquarters, housed in a former power plant built in 1892 in the Aurora district by Turin-based engineer Ermenegildo Perini.
Getting There & Accessibility
La Centrale Nuvola Lavazza is about 1.4 km from the city center, a 20-minute walk, or approximately 10 minutes by bike or taxi. It is well-served by multiple bus lines, with the closest stops being Parma, Ancona, Regio Parco, and XI Febbraio.
To access La Centrale Lavazza, go to the official address and enter the plaza from the street. Follow the path diagonally to the right, passing a concrete bench. Continue toward the doorway of the building located to the right of the white building.
The entrance is step-free. Upon entry, you’ll walk through a hallway that leads directly to the main room, which features high ceilings and overhead lighting from spotlights. Designated accessible seating will be available. The venue provides accessible bathrooms and free Wi-Fi. The indoor space is equipped with air conditioning.
The Lavazza complex features an outdoor area with a fountain, trees, and benches, offering a space to relax between sessions.

Getting There & Accessibility
EDIT Torino is well-connected by public transport. Buses 46, 49, 50, 51, and 77 stop nearby, with the closest stops being Crispi Sud, Cigna, and Vigevano. The venue is also reachable by taxi in approximately 10–15 minutes from the city centre.
There are two entrances to EDIT Torino. For the welcome dinner, please use the gate on the right-hand side, located in front of the circular bench area. This entrance is step-free and leads directly into the courtyard, where the registration desk will be right in front of you.
The indoor bathroom area has a few steps, but a ramp is available for wheelchair users. While the doors are relatively light, they may require assistance to open due to limited maneuvering space at the ramp entrance. The corridor to the bathrooms is dimly lit but wide enough for easy access.
Please note: there are no fully wheel-chair accessible lavatories at this venue. Bathrooms are gender-separated, and the interior is painted dark red, which may make the space appear dim.
📍Piazzale Monte dei Cappuccini, 7, 10131 Torino
The Museo Nazionale della Montagna showcases the history, culture, and exploration of the mountains, with exhibitions on alpinism, environmental conservation, and mountain photography. Located on Monte dei Cappuccini, it offers panoramic views of Turin.
Getting There & Accessibility
The museum is partially accessible, with some areas requiring assistance due to its hilltop location.
It is reachable by bus 52, 61, 70 (Stop: Monte dei Cappuccini) or a scenic 25-minute walk from the city center. Cycling is possible, but the uphill route can be challenging. A taxi ride from the Aurora neighborhood takes about 15 minutes. Please note that a dedicated shuttle will be available to take participants from Piazza Vittorio – Gran Madre up to the hills for the event.
📍Lungo Dora Firenze, 37, 10152 Torino TO, Italy
Dorado is a cultural and social space along the Dora River. It hosts concerts, workshops, and community events. The space includes an outdoor area and an indoor café.
Getting There & Accessibility
Dorado is only 170 meters away from La Centrale Lavazza, about a 2-minute walk.
Please note that the entrance to this venue has a single step approximately 15 cm high. The location spans two floors. Upon entry, the session space is immediately to your left. It is a spacious area with ample natural light, and additional spaces available for relaxing. A staircase provides access to the second floor, which features a co-working area. This area may be used as additional space in case of high attendance; however, the upper floor is not accessible. The venue has one bathroom, which is not accessible. Please note that this location is not equipped with air conditioning.
After your session, you can take a stroll along the riverbank of the Dora Riparia!

Cecchi Point is a multifunctional space that hosts a variety of cultural and community events, including workshops, exhibitions, and performances. It features both indoor and outdoor areas for public use.
Getting There & Accessibility
Cecchi Point is located 550 meters, or approximately an 8-minute walk, from Sermig, on the opposite side of the river.
The main entrance to Cecchi Point is step-free and opens into an open-air courtyard with multiple buildings. Once inside, proceed straight ahead, and after passing two wooden benches, the space we will be using will be on your left. Bathrooms are located at the end of the corridor, on the opposite side of the entrance. The corridor can feel a bit dim, the toilets are gender-separated, with accessible lavatories available. Please note that this location is not equipped with air conditioning.
The outdoor courtyard is open to the public and offers accessible seating areas, providing a relaxing space to enjoy during breaks.
📍Via Baltea, 3, 10154 Torino TO, Italy
Via Baltea is a venue that hosts cultural events, exhibitions, and community activities. It is located near the Dora River, providing a unique space for art, performance, and social gatherings.
Getting There & Accessibility
Via Baltea is 1.6 km from La Centrale Nuvola Lavazza, about a 23-minute walk or 7 minutes by bike. Alternatively, you can take Bus 27 from Ancona stop, get off at Sesia stop, and walk about 300 meters to reach the venue.
You can access this venue through the main entrance—a large blue gate—which provides step-free access. After entering, a corridor leads directly to the courtyard. The session will take place in the Salone, located on the ground floor. It is the second door on your right after entering. Please note that this location does not offer accessible bathrooms, and the indoor area is not equipped with air conditioning.
Ex-Cimitero di San Pietro in Vincoli

Ex-Cimitero di San Pietro in Vincoli is a historic site that was once a cemetery and is now a location for cultural and community events. The site is known for its peaceful atmosphere and historical significance.
Getting There & Accessibility
Ex-Cimitero di San Pietro in Vincoli is 1.2 km from La Centrale Lavazza, about a 17-minute walk or 7 minutes by bike. Alternatively, you can take Bus 19 from XI Febbraio stop, get off at Borgo Dora, and walk another 9 minutes to reach the venue.
You can enter this space through the main metal gate, which opens into a large, partially green rectangular courtyard. A central stone path leads to the opposite side, where the old chapel—our session venue—is located on the left, with the gate behind you.
The chapel is step-free and features a narrow yet spacious layout, with high ceilings and ample lighting. The seating consists of three rows of benches accessible by steps, with the first row slightly elevated. Accessible seating can be arranged if needed.
The courtyard of the chapel is peaceful and shaded by arches, offering cover from rain. There are also sofas available for seating, providing a comfortable area to relax.
Please note that there are no accessible bathrooms available at this location, and the indoor area is not equipped with air conditioning.

Borealis is a cultural and social center located in the Aurora district of Torino. Established by Kaninchen-Haus and designed by ConiglioViola, it serves as a hub for artistic expression, community engagement, and cultural events. The center aims to foster collaboration among diverse communities and provide a space for various activities, including art exhibitions, workshops, and performances.

Borealis is 300 meters from Sermig or around a 4 minute walk, and about 500 meters or around a 7 minute walk from La Centrale Lavazza.
This venue has step-free access and consists of three separate rooms that are all connected to each other. The specific space used will depend on the number of participants. The venue includes various interactive objects and a bar area.
Lighting in the space is generally dim, with spotlights that may be intense or alerting for some individuals. Please note that the bathrooms are not accessible. During the party scheduled at this location, music and sound levels may be high. The space can feel enclosed at times, depending on the number of attendees.

Bagni Pubblici di via Agliè is a historic venue that hosts cultural events, performances, and workshops. It is a former public bathhouse that has been repurposed as a space for community activities and artistic exhibitions.
Getting There & Accessibility
Bagni Pubblici di via Agliè is 1.1 km from La Centrale Lavazza, about a 17-minute walk or 6 minutes by bike. Alternatively, you can take Bus 18 from the Parma stop and get off at Palermo stop, then walk another 300 meters to reach the venue.
There are two entrances to the venue:
Main entrance (via the official address): This entrance has 7 steps leading into the main hall. From here, you can access the indoor collaborative space (used only in case of rain) and the outdoor courtyard via a staircase. An elevator is also available to move between indoor and outdoor areas.
Step-free entrance (Via Barbania 4C, 10154 Torino TO): This grey metal gate leads directly into the outdoor courtyard with step-free access. The outdoor courtyard is where the session will take place if the weather allows.
The space is well-lit and offers ample room for movement. Lavatories are located in the indoor workspace and can be reached from the courtyard via the staircase or elevator. One accessible bathroom is available and includes a baby changing table.
After the session at this venue concludes, you are welcome to enjoy a lunch break before making your way back to Sermig for our closing session. Please refer to the directions provided for more details on how to reach this venue.

Salotto di Miranda is a community space located along Viale Buscalioni. It is a social and cultural hub, designed to foster connection and creativity through workshops, events, and social gatherings. The space offers a cozy and inviting atmosphere for the local community to come together.
Getting There & Accessibility
Salotto di Miranda is 1.1 km from La Centrale Lavazza, about a 15 minutes walk or 6 minutes by bike. Alternatively, you can take Bus 19 from XI Febbraio stop, which is a 6 minutes walk away, get off at Verona stop, and walk another 200 meters to reach the venue.
This venue is a small glass structure located within a publicly accessible green median. The surrounding green space, which includes trees and a peaceful atmosphere, will be used for the session if weather permits. Chairs will be provided for outdoor seating.
Access to the area includes a single step, and there are no ramps available. If the session must be held indoors due to weather, please note that the interior space is limited. There are no bathroom facilities available at this location.

Off Topic is a cultural and social space in Torino, offering various areas for coworking, artistic performances, workshops, and community events. The venue is a hub for creative individuals and groups, with spaces dedicated to contemporary art, theater, and music.
Getting There & Accessibility
Off Topic is located 1.5 km from La Centrale Lavazza, approximately a 21-minute walk or a 6-minute bike ride. For a more scenic route, you can opt to walk along the riverbank. Alternatively, you can walk 450 meters to the XI Febbraio stop (across the river), take Bus 19, get off at Campus Einaudi, and walk another 500 meters to reach the venue.
Access is through the main gate, which is the only entrance. A slight ramp leads into an inner courtyard with tables and chairs. The session will take place in the room immediately to your right upon entry. This L-shaped space is well-lit but not equipped with air conditioning.
Bathrooms are located inside the main building. Please note that the doors may feel a bit heavy; once inside, the bathrooms are on the left. Accessible toilets are available at this location.
A bistro is on site, where you can enjoy a meal or a refreshing drink before or after your session.
📍Via S. Giuseppe Benedetto Cottolengo, 24 bis, 10152 Torino TO, Italy
Spazio BAC is a contemporary art space in Torino that hosts exhibitions, performances, and cultural events. It is dedicated to promoting new artistic practices and fostering a dialogue between local and international artists.
Getting There & Accessibility
Spazio BAC is 900 meters from Sermig, about a 12-minute walk or 5 minutes by bike.
To enter, use the main building entrance, which features a small ramp leading into the courtyard. From the courtyard, proceed to a door on your left. The session space is accessed through this door, down a metal staircase, and to your right.
For accessibility, there is a second back entrance with a stairlift that provides access to the lower level. Please inform the team if you require use of this access.
The space has high ceilings and is well-lit. Accessible bathrooms and a child changing table are available. Please note that the venue is not equipped with air conditioning.
